Services available to you

We have a highly skilled team with a broad range of clinical and non-clinical research expertise.  By having your study adopted by the NIHR South Manchester Clinical Research Facility, you may be eligible to receive support from skilled personnel to assist you in delivering your study.  Completion of the study adoption form will help you to consider which support service you require and will assist us in allocating resources to your research project.  

 

Project Administration and Management

Our project administration and management team can assist you from study conception to completion.  We have expertise in X, Y Z.  We can also assist in X, Y Z.

 

Financial Management

We strongly recommend you contact the facility if you are applying for research grants as our finance team can assist you in ensuring the appropriate funding is calculated to accurately cover the costs of undertaking your research.  

 

Clinical Research Nursing

We are fortunate to have a team of Clinical Research Nurses working in our facility with a broad range of clinical and research expertise.  Our nurses are highly skilled and knowledgeable in X, Y Z. 

 

Clinical Physiology 

Our clinical physiology laboratory is well equipped for both basic and complex lung function techniques.  Our clinical physiology team has over X years experience in the field.

Biobank Storage

Our facility houses the Manchester Allergy, Respiratory and Thoracic Surgery (ManARTS) Biobank.  If your research requires access to tissue samples from this cohort, then you may be able to apply to ManARTS for use of stored samples consented for future research.  Click here to find out more about ManARTS. 

 

Public Involvement and Engagement

Our team has knowledge and expertise in meaningful involvement of patients and the public in the research process, as well as engaging the people in respiratory and allergy research.
